Wax Melting, Made Simple

01 How to Use
  1. Snap off one wax melt segment and place it in the dish of a suitable wax warmer.
  2. Use your warmer according to its manufacturer’s instructions and allow the wax to melt gradually.
  3. Enjoy the fragrance as it fills the room. Once cooled, the same wax can be reheated until the fragrance has faded.
  4. When the wax no longer releases fragrance, allow it to cool completely before removing and replacing it.
02 Safety Tips
  • Always use wax melts in a suitable wax warmer and follow the warmer manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Never leave a lit tealight or heated warmer unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.
  • Do not add water to the wax and do not overfill the warmer dish.
  • Allow the wax and warmer to cool fully before handling or cleaning.
03 Storage & Care
  • Store wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Keep the clamshell closed between uses to help protect the fragrance.
  • Avoid storing near radiators, windowsills or other warm areas where the wax may soften or the scent may fade more quickly.

Behind the Fragrance

The Story Behind the Scent

Moss & Emberwood

The World Within

The fire has burned low.

Only embers remain, glowing quietly beneath a veil of ash as evening settles deeper into the woods.

Birch stands pale amongst the darkness, its bark catching the last traces of firelight. A thread of juniper moves through the cooling air, aromatic and green against the smoke.

Beyond the clearing, the woodland floor disappears beneath shadow. Cade wood brings a deeper, charred warmth, dry, dark and reminiscent of timber touched by fire.

Then everything begins to settle.

Amber glows beneath the darker woods like heat held beneath the ashes, softening the edges without disturbing the stillness.

Nothing here needs to hurry.

The woods endure. The earth remains. And somewhere within the darkness, warmth still burns.

Moss & Emberwood is quiet resilience, smoke amongst the trees, warmth amongst the shadows, and stillness found deep within the woods.

Need to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How long do Scented Vale wax melts last?

Each wax melt segment typically provides around 8 - 12 hours of fragrance, depending on the warmer used and the surrounding environment. With six segments in each clamshell, that gives approximately 48 - 72 hours of fragrance in total.

02 How much wax should I use at once?

Start with one segment in a suitable wax warmer. One segment is usually enough to give a good level of fragrance without overfilling the dish. If your warmer is particularly large, always stay within the manufacturer’s recommended fill level.

03 Can I reuse wax after it has cooled?

Yes. Once the wax has cooled and solidified, you can reheat the same segment again until the fragrance has faded. When you can no longer smell the fragrance while the wax is warm, it is time to replace it.

04 What type of wax warmer should I use?

Use a wax warmer designed specifically for melting fragrance wax, whether tealight or electric. Make sure the dish is large enough for the wax to melt safely without overflowing, and always follow the warmer manufacturer’s instructions.
